A story about the loyalty of a group of Catholic Church exiles on a remote South American Island, and the disloyalty of the Catholic Church to them. In the film are regrets, deceit, complex characters and a story that kept me guessing. The story was fantastic and the acting superb! The lighting and the cinematography was muddy, whitewashed and misty, harsh, and sup-par. A technical mess. A pity, for it brought the whole film down a few notches. If you are anything like my favorite photographer, this film may be not for you.
